One of My Embarrassing Moments

One of my most  embarrassing moments; there are many.  There were so many I really don't know which one to choose but here goes...

It was August 31, 2002, a nice hot sunny day. I was at one of my nephew's birthday parties, along with all my brothers and sister, their kids, grandma's and grandpa's and friends and their parents. There were well over 30 people there.

People were inside visiting; people were out side visiting and eating. Kids were playing baseball, bouncing on the bouncy-ball and playing in the the ball pen, running around inside and out.

I was with the girls inside chatting in the kitchen. One of the kids came bouncing in on the bouncy-ball, jumped off and left it. What on earth was I thinking, 48 year old on this bouncy thing!? I sat my plate of food down and went to grab the bouncy ball.. sat on it and tried to bounce. All of a sudden it slipped right out from underneath me. I fell back and hit my head seeing stars!

Next thing I know everyone was looking at me asking me if I was all right. I was so embarrassed, all I could do was say "I'm fine.." I got up and tried to change the subject  real fast.
