A fun little poem I wrote early on in my writing career.
I had a date with destiny,
Alopng with a good friend.
I had a date with destiny,
and almost met my end.
I had a date with destiny,
But did not come out the worst,
For it isn't me, it is my friend,
Who's riding in the hearse.

I had a date with deastiny,
My doc. is sure to say,
I had a date with destiny,
Earlier today.
I had a date with destiny,
But did not come out the worst,
For it isn't me, it is my friend,
Who's riding in the hearse.

I had a date with deastiny,
That I narrowly escaped.
I had a date with destiny,
and something dark and caped.
But now the man is all locked up,
They thrrew away the key,
And I tell you now, just one last time,
I had a date with destiny.
