About a widow loosing her husband
Lost in a state of broken memories
Saddened by a loss that can never be forgotten
Hoping that one day he would be back
Never again to flee into the waters

Drifting off to sea
In a state of melody
Happy as a child on Christmas eve.
He turned and said “good-bye I love you”
I never thought it would be the last.

Slowly he set forth into the gushing waters.
Never should have gone alone.
Never should have fallen in.
He was a pro; he did it all the time!

Twenty minutes past I start to worry.
He is never late always on time.
Twenty turns into forty then three hours.
I start to cry.

Never did I know that that would be the last.
Never did I know that I would ever love again.
Never did I know that he would have drowned.
