You gave me wings.
Lying here late at night*Star*
wrapped in my cocoon of covers
We talked until dawn many times
then one night we discovered
Where talk can lead*Kiss*
when hearts*Heart* do bleed
with wounds that run so deep
I had spoken of him
had been so broken*Cut*
then into the wounds you did seep
You filled the holes
you mended me

Then came the night
you bended me
Filling me with all of you
a river ran through me onto you
A river of fire flowing
temperature rising as I fell
onto the floor
You fanned my passion
with your hand
& healed me with your growing sword
Desire that had built slowly
burst open one cold night
I lost my cocoon of covers
& the butterfly took flight.*Balloon6*
