Oh, the madness continues with Chapter 2!
Alice's Mad Adventure
By:w.d.glada

Chapter 2

When we last left young Alice, she had just woken up to a room full of upturned furniture, including her bed. When the inevitable happened and Alice ran screaming from her room, she stopped cold at the sight of three monstrous, ugly trolls loitering in her hallway.
I would like to take a moment and pose a question? What would you do if faced with three trolls hanging about in your hallway? I believe that I already mentioned that I would pass out into a deep coma and possibly never wake up from said coma. Now, I am generalizing a bit, but I think that the rest of the human race would do one of two things:
         A)Run like a frightened animal.
         B)Wet their pants.
C)Scream violently until fainting from lack of air.
As it turns out, little Alice was a fan of option C.
Alice sucked in a lungful of air, and exhaled in the form of an ear-shattering scream. The supersonic vibrations issuing from Alice’s mouth started to splinter and crack the walls, shatter glass pictures and perhaps most importantly, caused the three trolls to swell up like big, ugly balloons. Now, what happens next is a mystery to me (much like most of the events in this story). I couldn’t even begin to explain why this happens. In fact, I’m at a loss for words when I even try to theorize.
All you or I need to know is that this did happen, and now that it is being written down, zoologists everywhere can recognize what happens to a troll when bombarded with supersonic waves.
They explode. Into raspberry jelly, in fact.
Little Alice stopped screaming when the jelly splattered all over her. Standing in her hallway, she was suddenly aware that she had a sort of power. It wasn’t the most refined power, but by looking around at the splintered walls, cracked pictures, and troll-jelly, Alice realized that she might be able to use it as defense against whatever monstrosities lurked around the house.
‘Because,’ Alice rationalized, ‘If trolls appeared in the hallway, who knows what could be in the kitchen!’ And so, little Alice, as determined as any adventurer setting off into the unknown, she stepped forward and began her walk down her hallway.

Author’s Note: Perhaps I should tell you why this story seems a little, random. That would be because of the time restraints I have when writing this in my English class. As mentioned before, I have only ten minutes to write like a madman and get my thoughts on paper. Also, the only reason I had for writing this story in the first place was the fact that I have trouble writing spontaneously. This is practice for me. On the other hand, when I have the time to go over this story I don’t want to change much in terms of the randomness. Otherwise, otherwise it wouldn’t be the same story I had written on the fly.
