My response
You asked for a confessional

It’s so hard for me to confide in people
Self disclosing is a rare occasion
I refuse to be an open book
My pages are heavy and set like stone
My fears, a challenge for me to share
Hopes and dreams, just the same

No one cares, no one really cares!
People don’t want to hear you talk about what frightens you, what your dreams are.
They want to know who you’re seeing, for how long.
They want to talk about Gucci, Sex, Britney Spears, and of course…
Themselves.
So why should I waste my breath, time, and energy on a moment I will never get back?
This is my confession…
My expectations of people are little to none.
