Poem of questions for a loved one.
If when tomorrow comes,
I rang your number,
To hear your voice,
To hear "I love you"

If when tomorrow comes,
The sun failed to rise,
And the moon stayed away
And storms rose all the day through,

If when tomorrow comes
Nightmares filled my dreams,
And fears filled my days,

If when tomorrow comes,
And tears filled my eyes,
And I lost my way,

Would you be there?
To answer the phone,
To fill my ear with those
Words so dear.

Would you be there?
To chase away those
Nightmares,
To ease my fears.

Would you be there?
To wipe away my tears,
To show me the way.

Would you be there?
To keep me safe from
Those storms.

Would you be there Dear?

If when tomorrow comes,
And the world came to an end,
And the flowers forgot to bloom,

Would you be there?
To hold me in your arms,
To love me.

If when tomorrow comes,
And everything we know
Is lost,

Tell me Sweetheart would you
Be there for me?

I know I'd be there for you-

Would you be there for me too?
