Setting Up an RSS Feed on Your Web Site

For those of you who are getting tired of inboxes full of email you don't want, can't use, don't need (even when it is sometimes things that might be interesting)...here's the solution.

You may have seen some little orange lozenges on peoples' Web sites. They had letters on them that read, "RSS," "XML," or something similar. You wondered what that is. It is a new programming trend that allows you to access sources of information that interest you, easily.

The advantage is that you don't have to wade through lots of information you don't need and deal with it in some way, and you don't have go on a never-ending Web search. The information you want comes directly to you!

It requires a little bit of work, but you can probably get yourself set up in an hour if you're even slightly sure of what you're doing. The key is the elements you need to do this...and they're not that difficult, but you need all the elements and in the right spot.
