I remember the day you lost your shine.
You looked so sad,
but you said you were fine.
I never thought you'd change.

Remember all the dreams we had.
You were always so happy,
but then you got sad.
I'll never know what happened.

I remember the day you lost your smile.
I always thought you'd be ok,
you were ahead of me by half a mile.
I didn't know anything.

You're the best friend I ever had.
Everyone loved you,
why were you so sad?
You must have been so scared.

This mysterious world,
fucked with your head.
For the very last time,
because now you're dead.
