He shouldn't have stuck it in my face!
I know it sounds funny
And, really, insane
But what else could I do?
I was in awful pain.

He started by teasing
And tickling me,
And no matter my pleading
He would not let me be.

We were wrestling around,
My hubby and I.
He just kept on going
Though I wanted to cry.

He sat down on my gut
And pinned me in place.
The way that he sat
Put his feet in my face.

He began then to tickle
My feet once again,
As his toe inched it's way
To my mouth and went in!

Now, normally, I found
Another way out
But being thus pinned
I was beginning to doubt.

So, I tried once more
Begging him to let go,
But my words were muffled
So I bit into his toe!

He let out a shout
That the neighbor's could hear!
But it worked, he let go,
To hold his toe near.

But, really, I should never
Have bitten into his toe
For my sweet reputation
Has suffered the blow.

He still calls me his love
But at wrestling time,
His toes stay away
And he tries to bite mine!
