Short poem written a month or two ago.
My mind is no longer awake
My body took all it could take
I need someone by my side
Someone to come along for the ride
I cannot go on alone

Emptiness is filling me
Lost something deep inside of me
Venturing into the unknown
All I know is I'm alone

I'm scared, I'm lost
I never knew the cost
Of losing the one who cared
Now I'm alone

Someone! Anyone!
I just need one
Someone to hold, to love
But I'm alone
