WHERE ARE THE BLOGS? UPDATE!

This was one of my first entries...See update below.

... yep, I'm a newbie and a computer amateur too. But I'm a fairly experienced writer, searching for a place to put my stuff. At first I thought I'd just get a website and go for it, but it's a little difficult for someone with no experience. I was glad to find writing.com, to help me get started. Let me tell you how amateur, I didn't even know the difference between username and password. I thought I'd sign in with something easy to remember, like, "check in". Checkin. Little did I know I would be greeted as Checkin, Hi Checkin! you got mail! Apparently I'll be known as Ms. Checkin forever. Oh, well, I sucessfully launched my first blog, and this is my second. I'm happy as a lark.

HEY! Thanks to the the three kind people who clued me in, I'm moving right along. and I even learned (from onsite instructions) how to upload. I entered my recent poem "The Coffeshop in Borders Bookstore". I wrote a series of poems in coffeshops. I've just about used up my 5 free entries. Guess I'll have to sign up for entry level. I'm a spiritual writer, so you'll be seeing my stuff there.

HI! Update # 2- Ms. Checkin checked in one day and received a very pleasant surprise! An anonymous angel had given me an upgrade. I want to say many thanks. Im having a great time, and I only wish I could fill in my portfolio faster and get all my stuff in, but i'm still an amature and newbie. I'm currently trying to upload my art and photos, but no luck. Its on jpg. I try to put it on images but it comes up error. But it uploaded on another site so its not my computer.

FINALLY figured out photo upload problem. My scanner copies small photos up to full page size then then displays them small. Didn't figure it out until I clicked "actual size" button. so I learned to size it when scanning. I didn't even know what pixels are. I have to learn everything by myself. That sometimes means hours or days of frustration.

Well, I havent updated for a long time, because I finally got a real blog going. and I dont even use that much, because I have three blogsites going now (blogger and yahoo 360) but i think I'll put my memoirs here on static items. this is an important move for me. catch you on my Real Blog here.
