Just a song that I thought of.Rate and comment if you like or even if you don't.
Verse 1:
The soft wind brushing past my cheek.
I fly through the damp clouds,
the moisture sticking my loose clothes to my body.
Shaking my hair out like a dog
as I do corkscrews in the air
my mouth spread wide in a grin.

Chorus:
To fly as the graceful birds fly,
oh how I wish I could.
I'd laugh so joyfully as I spread my wings
and leap into the air.
All my troubles would just fall away
grasping for my feet as they slip
one by one
off my conscience.

Verse 2:
The ground come up to meet me
as I dive back down
to return to the troubles I had left behind.
I heave a sigh as they all weigh down on my conscience
once I land gently onto the top of a lush hill
my golden hair fluttering in the breeze.

Ending:
Curses escape my lips as I open my eyes
"If only it wasn't a dream...
If only...if only..."
And then the tears flood and my pain overflows.
