First Time, Always

sitting here alone
look at your face
so close in the distance far
as beautiful rainbow in the end of sky

time passing by with its own story
yesterday left behind with in its history
tomorrow is a wide field its color of mystery
and today is a gift that we call it “the present”

this is the first time we meet
no. every time we meet is the first time
as a poetry written by Carlos Valles :

We do not step twice in the same river, said Heraclitus:
this was said very truly, as the river flows without an end,
and its waters are never the same."

yes, we never step twice in the same river
it makes every single drop of water flowing
in the river of life is so meaningful
and when I meet you again tomorrow
it’s always the first time we meet because
every time you're different as I also am
but one thing never change: your beauty inside
shining from your eyes to make life more beautiful*
