Poetry Anthology Seeking Submissions HEMISPHERIC VERSE Poetry Anthology 2006 Editors are currently seeking submissions for Hemispheric Verse Poetry Anthology 2006. The print-anthology is set to contain 80 poems taken from four poetic forms and four subjects. Each Form/Subject will be comprised of 10 poems. Forms: Classical/Archaic (Specialist forms eg: Sonnet) Contemporary Modern (Experimental, structurally challenging etc) Free Verse (all subjects) Haiku (up to 5 poems per submission, any subject) Subjects: Emotional/Love/Sad (all forms) The Weird/Gothic/Macabre (all forms) Humour/Satire/Limericks (all forms) Real World/Real Life Poetry (all forms) Each applicant may submit UP TO 3 POEMS from across the range of subjects and forms above. Using the following guidelines: • Include the poem in the body of an email, we do not accept attachments. • Head the email "Poetry Submission" and include a brief explanation of which FORM/SUBJECT each poem is intended for eg: "Tonight at Noon" (Free Verse) • All applications will be considered and the writer notified whether their submissions will be successful. • Throughout the selection process writers retain all copyright to ALL of their work hemispheric-verse@hotmail.co.uk DEADLINE - JULY 1st 2006 |
