Second Thoughts

I had a second thought, today.
That the reasons I stayed
weren't always the same.
Like the way that I sit
and wait for a new place,
for my family to stop and say,
we are at home in heart, today.

I had second thoughts, today.
That when I sit down,
the chair's not the same.
so I sat on the couch in dismay.
I thought of a state, my mind liked today.

Oh, the second thoughts are driving
my primary ideas away
