A narrative on the status quo
The fall of a people comes in many shapes and sizes
Sometimes unnoticed, other times in disguises
Arguing over men and apes
confusing the facts and the opinions
and everyone is right in their minds
and the factor of pride is what commonly blinds
But if everyone is wrong than nobody is right
and ive on haitng others, and opposing all just out of mere spite
Opression of the common man
And Glorification of the few others
The fall of a people is what ties us down
And breaks bonds of our sisters and brothers
faces in the crowd erased
A number not a name
The individual is lost
and all have to live in shame
through media and an irrational fear
a robot nation has arisen
and those who oppose those whispering in their ear
a beating they are given
the young are told to be the same
and forget their dreams and hopes
"become what ur father is honey, he never smoked no dope"
And when the people have awoken
and want to hear the truth
were told do what authorities say
Not what authorities do
And if in fact they are discovered
The authority that keeps us sedated
They'll hide behind a mahogany desk
Behind the monster he created
Not just us and not just them
The whole world in a scuffle
Extend a helping hand
Then an end to all the trouble
Just a helper just a nudge
just a little motivation
The people have the power and will
just not a common nation
so why not see what’s for the best
a helper to all who ask
and instead of arguing about the way things go on in your nation, why not ask the people then youl lhave good information
pointing fingers and calling names
Productivity all lost
The spirit of the people fades away
And bought out with a cost
A cost of segregation yes
Not just between black and white
bewteen those who are against another, for no reason, and have no logic
A nation is buried under hatred and untolerance
With blinders on and one track minds
the nation seems lost to most
only if theyre was some opposing force,
fighting for what is right, as one
But the people are just sitting still, the battle’s being won
so come up and save this fallen group
when all hopes looks but lost
but rise up in arms my brothers
no matter what the cost
