in a tainted alley.
as a hopeful star,
electrocutes the night sky.

Zap! Zing! Zoom!
Her hopes have suddenly died.
1000 watts of power-
could not provide,
enough life for a hopeful.

She has it, she wants it!
Sneers at commonfolk who
fail to see.
