So confused!

I am smack-dab in the middle of the worst decision I have ever, ever, EVER had to make in my life!!

I am twenty years old and I have never been anywhere apart from resorts down south with my family. It was nice and all, but I want to really travel, really SEE the countries I go to, not just the image projected at the fancy hotels.

My friend Danielle goes to Scotland each May. For the past YEAR I have been planning to go with her. And I did it. I booked my tickets just yesterday to go from May6 -20. We are going to start off in Scotland, take a train down to Oxford, play for a week on the coast of the Medeteranian (either in Srydinia, or the south of Spain).

I called my mother to tell her the good news.

She said 'oh'.

I said 'oh?'.

"Well dear I'm getting Married on the thirtenth".

SHE FINALLY MARRIES HER LONG-TIME BOYFRIEND AND ITS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY TRIP!!

I don't know what to do. I can't possibly go at another date, because this is when Danielle is going to see her father.

I want to go SO badly. But I don't want to miss my mother's wedding! I am supposed to be her maid of honour.
