A short story of a promiscuous woman who falls for a man with morals.
Tamarra loves men! Loves em' with a sex driven passion! She wakes up thinking about a new man, often while laying next to a new man who was now one of her old men. It didn't matter, Rich men with tailored suits, Factory working men with the A-plan, or broke wanna be rappers with only a pair of Timberlands to their name, Tamarra only saw her next bed playmate. Black, white, brown, fat, skinny or musclebound, Tamarra knows how to entertain a man.

And oh yes, the men definetly love Tamarra! She is in her mid-twenties, a redbone(A fair skinned African-American woman), light enough to almost be mistaken for white, but shaped in a way that no question could be made of her ethnicity. Black men loved her, white men maxed out their credit cards on her, Latin men burned to dirty dance and mambo with her. Men loved Tamarra. Tamarra loved the men. Was it her upbringing? Two parent home, private school, Sunday morning service,Tuesday night bible study (Her parents made her go). Aren't these the steps of a stable child that grows into a stable adult? Then why are Tamarra's relationships so unstable!?

Her first boyfriend was at Fifteen, little Johnny from across the street. Johnny had an older brother, James, who was seventeen. Johnny was Tamarra's first, three minutes of huffing and puffing, He rolled over grinning, she turned over frowning. Not quite what Tamarra was expecting, needless to say. Two days after that happening, she ran into Johnny's brother James. Thirty minutes, huffing and puffing, sweat beads and orgasms, Tamarra was hooked! That was Ten years ago though and she has made atleast one rule in her dealings with men, no sleeping with brothers! She had a incident with twins one time she wouldn't care to forget about.

Nowadays Tamarra is actually thinking about settling down. Not completely yet, but she has cut down her list of numbers in her cell phone from one hundred and three to around sixty eight. She had a sweetheart now, Randy, who she met at a Usher concert that she went to with her girlfriend about two months ago. Randy is what the ladies would call handsome, keeps a neat haircut, makes sure his fingernails are clean, a good God fearin' young man. He is open with her, tells her his goals in life and indescrimently listens to hers. He takes her dancing, to swanky resteraunts, bowling, rollerskating, whatever she wants to do, Randy willingly accomodates.

Yes, they are different in many ways. He would prefer to spend time alone, while Tamarra loves to see and be seen. That being said, they are passionately in like, not quite in love yet, atleast not from Tamarra's perspective, but they are getting pretty serious. The surprising thing is after almost two months of dating, they have never slept with one another. Of course Tamarra has always been ready and willing, but Randy, though not a virgin, has decided to honor his religious beliefs and keep it in his pants until his honeymoon. Tamarra respected Randy for his vow of abstinence. It really didn't affect her sex life that much anyway. She felt wonderful about Randy and all, her heart fluttered even when she thought of him, but as she also felt and was known to tell her girlfriends, "I gotta get mine." Tamarra always kept a man on standby for such an occasion.

One night after a blockbuster night and a few rounds of gin and strawberry daquaris, Tamarra and Randy decided to play a game of truth or dare. This, often thought of as a childish game is one that really lets people get to know each other.

What was your most embarrasing moment?
What is the biggest lie you've ever told?
I dare you to run around the house in your underwear!

The truths and dares were pretty light until Randy gathered up the courage to ask this question:
"How many people have you had sex with in your life?"
It was a common question to say the least, but one Tamarra wasn't expecting to be asked. She knew the answer would be enough to be counted on five or six hands, but she couldn't tell Randy that! Tamarra liked him to much to take a chance at telling the truth, but she knew, due to her almost overly "outgoing" personality she had to give him a somewhat believable answer. No, saying three or four probably would'nt cut it. Twelve seconds after the question was rose, Tamarra blurted out "Ten!"

That seemed like a believable number, not to many, considering she was going on 26, but enough that Randy should believe without too many doubts. Tamarra smiled and blushed, a little embarrased. Randy smiled and chuckled, almost like he thought she was joking. "Ten" Randy asked her, still grinning. MMM-HMM, said Tamarra, thinking of something to say to try to change the subject. Randy stopped grinning and looked at his watch in a way that someone would check their watch to come up with some kind of lame excuse to get the hell out of where there at. "Well" Randy started " I gotta get up kinda early in the morning so I'ma head on out." Tamarra was a little puzzled, wondering if Randy thought she was a liar or even (gulp) a slut, but said "okay, call me tommorow then." "Yep", said Randy half-heartedly, "I'll PROBABLY call you tommorow." "Probably" Tamarra bellowed. "Randy wait! It was only seven!"
