A rebuttal to a poem called Dear Pencil
No longer shall I take the blame
No longer will I play your game

Sloppily I write you say
but you're the one who paved the way.
Wrong answers on your test you see
are only the answers you gave me.

If you had kept me in your drawer
I wouldn't have landed on the floor,
and rolled around from here to there
engaging the teachers' wrathful glare.

And how did I get you in trouble
when you're the one who burst the bubble
Oh and did I forget to mention
I was with you in detention

Your advice, maybe I will take
and let you make your own mistakes.

Oh you could trade me for a pen
but you know Ill be back again.

For with a pen you can"t erase
just a fact you have to face.
And a computer you could use
but chance the work you may lose

So do with me what you will but
I'll still be THE MIGHTY PENCIL!

So take that!!!NA, NA, NA
