Silent Prayer

Dear Lord guide me through this life,
I need your love to be,
A guardian against all things,
Which hurt and trouble me.
Guard my children, keep them safe,
help them come to know,
That you are there when needed,
In times of strife or woe.
Watch o'er my home, help keep it free,
from everything that's bad,
Let everyone who enters know,
the love that Jesus had;
for all your children on this Earth,
No matter what they'd done,
And Lord, help me learn the patience,
that was in him, your son.
Lord, when the day is over,
and night is all around,
Within these walls Our Father,
Let Peace and Love abound.
