You could have my eyes,
To watch you as you sleep,
To see you when you smile,
To chase the teardrops from your cheek.

To smell the sweetness of your hair,
The linger of your perfume,
On me when you're not there.

You could have my lips,
To feel the touch of yours,
To know the smile you give them,
To taste love's every word.

These things I cannot give you,

That without you in my life,
These things I would not need.

For without a beauty such as yours,
