Untitled Love

With my eyes I trace his laugh lines…
Memorized in my heart.
His hugs are a glimpse of heaven,
Turning to reality as we part.

His eyes speak in peaceful tones,
Tugging upon his lips is a smile.
His love stands the test of time,
In that there’s no denial.

His ways leave me yearning for more,
Oh, words cannot express…
How much I want to touch his heart,
That’s buried within his chest.

His kindness lingers everywhere,
It teases me all day.
Oh, how he holds me in his arms,
Is tempting me to stay.

He is all but the darkness around,
He is the sweet taste in life.
Life should be honored that he is in it,
As I am that he is in mine.
