Spark

my mind unfolds before me
but all the things that could be said
feel meaningless
just fingers drumming on the table
a conundrum within which I am trapped
and yet there is a spark here
something says the horizon is not far away
the leaves have fallen
the snow is on the ground
but the crocus are poking up
spring will come soon
