A poem describing a girl, selected to be published in an anthology, tell me what YOU think
So there is this girl I've been dreaming about.
Unique in looks, not like any other.
Her speech is sweet,
slow, drawn out
like there is no hurry for words to leave her mouth.

Her skin pulled tight across her body,
stomach feminine, curvy,
Likes to be kissed.
Her legs, long, smooth, skin shines as she steps.

Her thoughts sexual, creative, loving,
understood by few.
She wants to take care of me
and wants to be taken care of by me.

Her lips need kissing, neck
begs for a bite.
She is like a sunrise, filling
my life with color, wonder and smiles.
Also like the stars,
she brings peace,
makes me feel small,
surrounded by warmth.

With her I am blind.
Blind to bad, to worry, to my flaws
and more importantly hers.
Her imperfections make her mine,
make her what I love about her.

Together we are firecrackers,
thunder, lightning and children.
Explosions of feeling, intensity and brightness
which gives me warmth.

Sex is physical, only a small part
of what connects me to her.
Without ever having it, I know
it will be music, rhythmic harmony.

The rise and fall of heartrates,
heat of skin, embrace of toes,
wetness of parts.
Perfect.

The friendship is eternal,
an understanding shared with no one else.
Words enter my mind and leave her mouth.
A connection that is magic, scary,
beautiful.

Present in dreams, I pray for the day
this girl is real.
When I can hold her hand, tickle her chest
kiss her feet and taste her mouth.
When I can feel her breath on my face
and we sleep silently
under shared sheets.

This day will be Christmas, Birthdays
and every other day worth celebrating.
