I found the house where God resides
Beyond the trials of Ancient times
And all the wonders which lie inside
Are beyond the grasp of my humbled mind
And yet, despite my beggar ways
The Lord does not turn me away
His house is open, and I stay
This place keeps all my fears at bay
The road I took was long and hard
At times I thought I would not get far
But it seems I had a northern star
To guide me through the world unharmed
I wish you could see the house I found
But it's not a place on normal ground
There are no directions, no path unwound
It's not like a house within a town
The only way to find this place
Is to truly feel Gods love and grace
And maybe then you'll walk the face
For the House of God you'll find one day
