The efforts to get over a love.
Time passed without a word. It was definitely over now. She had to accept this. It ravaged her insides with sleepless nights coupled with sweat-drenched nightmares. It seemed like the sun would always be hidden and the darkness she found herself in would envelope her into its arms.

She didn't want the dark. It made her sad; it made her useless. That night, as Himanee went to bed, her thoughts still revolved around him and their life together. They were not together anymore. The lighning flash outside emitted its light in her bedroom and, just for that second, she could see.

But, like everything else, it didn't last. She felt destined to remain witout any light. Himanee dreamt about him so often. She still loved him dearly. She was lost. Where was he? As lost as she? Did he still love her?

She hoped that all her efforts to stay with him weren't in vain. She desperately wanted to belive that he still loved her. After all, it doesn't die. Love should survive even after...

But, it was not shared between them anymore. Oh, how she wished to tell him that she still loved with with all her being. That no-one could ever take his place. That she wanted him back. That they could be together. That she would do anything only if he would come back.

But, he left. He would never return. Her heart would always belong to him and she would never be able to give it to another. What could she do? Fabricate a new one? That one would be the false one and anyone she loves then would not truly be loved by her. He possessed her heart, her soul, her entire self.

What was he thinking? How could he have forgotten? She hasn't. She hasn't been with anyone else.

Morning drags in slowly and the shutters open to reveal a new day; she must make it through.
