I was a nobody in the world of writing until i found writing.com. i always wrote, but i never let anyone read anything i wrote. then one day i stumbled into writing.com like a sick beat up sewer rat and decided to take a chance and put my first piece online. now i want everyone to read my writing because it means that i have a voice.
Well, Writing.com is a really good site to let your feelings flow into words. Those words can end up being a really good story or a great add-on to one. That is the great thing about this site. You do not have to write an entire story yourself. You can make it have choices and let others add on to it. You can also check to see if they make it appropriate too, and you can change/edit the work they make.

I have some friends that are teachers in middle schools and high schools. I tell them what a good site this is, because you can express your thoughts or desires into any type of story. I also tell them that they can make choices for people to add on to their stories.

I myself have added some little chapters/choices to this site. I like to read or write any kind of story. My favorite have to do with mythology or Medieval Times. I am going to say this. After I am done with my work for the day, I spend a few hours on here reading or adding chapters to other peoples stories. It really is interesting to see what people have to write about, especially when it deals with something that has happened to them. Thank you for opening this site. I also thank you for your time in reading this.
When I found Writing.com I was just bored and looking for a place to read a few stories, maybe even post a few. But instead I've found a place that I've logged onto almost everyday, and that has many kind and inspiring members. It's become a second home for me and has inspired me to grow as a writer and maybe even try to get something published someday. I love this site and will continue to log onto it and show it to my friends.

I joined writing.com just over 4 months ago. I was looking for somewhere to help me with the novel I am writing. Since I have joined, I have discovered that I have not only joined the right site for my needs, but I have also joined on of the friendliest web based communities I've ever known. My writing has improved 100% and I have developed skills I didn't know I possessed. I now even write poetry; something I didn't realise I was good at! I can review other member's work and that improves my own. I make less mistakes now that I review my own work before posting. I will be a published author and that is as much to writing.com's credit as it is my own. If I had not joined, my book would still be just thoughts in my head. Thank you WDC! The community, the site tools and even the site staff have changed my life forever.
I've been looking for a place to write whatever I'm feeling at the time for quite a while, and I finally found it with Writing.Com. I never feel inferior here, even though I'm relatively new to writing, and whenever I just need to curl up in a ball and write down all my thoughts, it's here for me. I love it very, very much,
I was finding a way to express myself with all the emotions that is hidden within me. I'm thankful to writing.com to give this oppurtunity. Today I met a girl who reminded me the early struggle of life. The innocent face that she was carrying, the hardship that she is going through, the life that has taught her to smile with hunger, thirst, the pain that the society has given her. Can't God have mercy to those needy who are trying to see the flame of light which the blessed ones are feeling.
A couple of days ago I joined writing.com. Already I can see I made a good choice. I've been writing and rewriting the story of my life for seven years. On my first piece posted I was immediately critiqued. The critique was most encouraging. My years of writing paid off. I'm looking forward to the help I need to finish my story and get it published.
I haven't been registered very long and when I first finished my first piece of work the very next day I got 5 reviews. I read them and they were all positive. This has made me write on and now I am thriving! Thanks a lot writing.com!
I found this site while searching the internet for a place to write my thoughts, feelings, and dreams. Writing.com is the perfect place for me. The member's were so kind and welcoming. I prefer being here over any other social networking site. I am happy to say I am officially addicted.
I can't find enough good things to say about writing.com! I stumbled upon it by chance and created a free account, posted a couple of pieces of my writing and literally within minutes I began receiving feedback on my work and someone even upgraded my package for me! All of this happened within less than an hour of being logged in. This is the website I've been looking for for a long, long time! If you're a writer you'd be crazy for not joining!

I joined the sight mainly to read some things, and I figured that I may as well put my writings on there. So I've put a few of my best works on and started reviewing. I'd say this is the most fun I've had on the internet in ages! Everybody's so kind and honest. I feel that I can really connect with people. Thanks, Writing.com for helping me come out of my shell and into the world of readers!
I have to say WDC has me totally captivated. I happened across this site by accident, stumbling along, looking for some direction and support. The members of the WDC community have provided the tips and hints to help guide me to a better path of productivity and creativity. They have also shown encouragement and positive feedback, spurring me to write, write, write! I have only been here for about three weeks, but I have written more in that time than I have in the past year. I found an outlet for my writing, an appreciative audience who will respond to my posts, and so much more. I even found love here- who would have guessed! I encourage anyone who has the passion for the written word, needs help with their work, or simply wants to meet people to bounce ides off of to join. NOW! You won't find a better site out there!
I have grown so much since the day when I finally took myself seriously as a writer and signed up for my writing.com e-mail address.

I remember how I blushed the first few times in Borders that I forgot my reward card and had to give the clerk my e-mail address. And then I learned not to carry my card with me on purpose so I could announce "@writing.com" and have everyone look at me with admiration.

Writing.com taught me that becoming a writer requires no more credentials than announcing you are a walker or an eater or a reader. And yet once I knew how to claim my writing status, I was suddenly free to access parts of myself that before I thought I would only use when I _really_ became a writer.

I was always going to be a writer someday, but thanks to Writing.com I finally started being one on 12/1/06.
I had been writing poems for quite sometime, and then one day I decided to share them with the world. So, I searched for a site where I could display my work and get reviews on them. I stumbled upon writing.com and it was a solution to all my problems!
Not only could I display my work, I was also getting great reviews and comments which improved my work. I entered into contests, and also started writing short stories.
I have been gifted with so many points and an anonymous friend also changed my membership from free to upgraded one, where I could access lot more writing tools and folders. In these few months I have also secured First and Second prizes in many of the contests and am proudly displaying them in my portfolio.
I am so overwhelmed by the mine of precious works in the site, from where I can learn so much more, and enjoy the creativity of other writers. I recommended it to all those who has an inclination to write.
I thank writing.com for being there.
I always knew my incapability to express myself. But with WDC its becoming easy. Plus, the reviews and feedbacks are really motivating. I enjoy being myself here, and I know that I am accepted the way I am here on WDC. Writing has always been on my mind since childhood. I am happy I could take this first step forward in this direction. Thanks a zillion WDC! God Bless all.
Writing.com is, in my opinion, the best place for writing. Ever since I became a member and started posting my writings here I have gotten many helpful reviews and many reviews that encourage me to keep writing. Above all, Writing.com has absolutely made me a much better writer than I once was. For that, I thank you StoryMaster and StoryMistress for making this wonderful site and thank you fellow members for the reviews and just being contributing members to a great site.
Since I joined WDC, every time I turn on my computer I have something to look forward to. This site has provided me the chance to display my writing skills, make new friends, and read the fantastic pieces of writing we all contribute! Without this site, I wouldn't have the joy of coming onto the computer as I do today!

Since finding WDC two years ago, my cell phone hasn't left the palm of my hand. During every boring bus trip, between classes and even while falling asleep at night I'm madly clicking away at the keypad, adding chapters to my interactive stories via mobile internet. I can't imagine an addiction more fun, productive and satisfying than WDC.

I am just about to hit my one year anniversary on WDC, and felt that I had to let the world know what an amazing and inspiring site this is. In just one year I have gone from being a closet writer, too afraid to let anyone know that's what I did in my spare time, to being a published author. And I owe it all to WDC.

The support and friendship I have gotten from members of this site has been invaluable. So I urge you, if you write, join this community and gain the insight and confidence you need to take the next step.
Dear writing.com, I have been a member here for over two years and I love this site. the people are caring and very supportive of my writing. It has also helped me grow as a writer and rediscover a part of myself that I have kept under wraps for many years. because of your site I have decided to persue my dream to become a published childrens books author.       The first time i found Writing.com, i was just surfing the internet for fanfiction stories of Naruto. I had no idea that i would start writing them. Althought the time i took was two weeks for me to actually sign in, I make up for it now.
I hesitantly joined Writing.com a few months ago, I'd never shared my poetry before I found this site and was nervous about what others would have to say about my work. But all I have found is encouragement and friendly (very helpful) advice. I am now addicted and visit the site whenever I have a spare moment. The people here are genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful.
I am so glad I joined!! -Brit
Mollyjeep writing wrote a testimonial in 07 about how the community here has inspired her writing and the friendships/bonds created are the greatest thing that could have happened to her. I find that amazing because that is my same exact sentiment in 09! This site is the absolute truth when it comes to the art of reading and writing. And the site protocol is unmatched with (any) other site i've ever seen! It was a blessing (stumbling) into WDC.
