This makes me think back to my childhood. As a child we see Christmas with new eyes, and everything is so magical. As we grow, that can fade. I really love this poem. Thank you for sharing.

I really loved this. It made me sad at first and then it made me smile. My mother is confined to a wheelchair. This poem kind of gave me a view of what she's going through. Great job!

I loved this poem. I also had a similar thing happen when my kids were little. They went to live with their dad and I didn't see them again until they were grown. Your poem brought tears to my eyes. Good job.
