I like the understated imagry. I have gotten the sense and feel of the character. I find it funny since I have had my writings turned against me in a court case so totally unaffiliated with the writing. So I guess this makes meempathetic with the character's plight.
Many a case this has occured, and it is becoming a often used theme in writing, that an uninvolved party usually a writer looking for his break pounds out a feverish tale that echoes the happenings n the real world... THANKFULLY you did not expound to the point of making it feel contrived, or a continuing echo in a canyon who's walls have been sanded smooth by the cacophony of literary trash that has scraped the walls smooth of any sympathy for such characters.
