This is an interesting story, but the story is a bit vague. Who is this Capitan Winston? You didn't mention more about him in the story. And why did Frank take Laura into hostage in first place? Was Roman actually the one who asked Frank to do it? That's why he has this guilt for mistakenly shot his own wife... But if he's actually the one who asked Frank, why would he do it?
This leads me to another question: What's with Laura?
Anyway, this is a mystery to the readers. Interesting. I'm longing to read more of this story from you. Keep writing.
Another great poem of yours. I feel the guilt and regrets coming from the author. To be honest, you can make a song out of this, and let me be the first to hear it. :)
It feels good knowing that someone, somewhere out there knows how it feels to be in such situation and understands what it means to be in that situation. I guess that's what writing is all about. Love the message this poetry's trying to deliver.
As I was reading through your poetry, it made me to travel the time and history between the author and the muse. The first and the second stanza took me back to my teenage years. I love the flow and the emotion in this poetry. Beautifully written. Thank you so much for writing this.
