I loved this! You kept me going at first, wondering who "Laura" was and what she was having done. I read the whole thing through once, and to be honest, I was quite confused. The letter for her guardian came out of no where! Then, it all started to make sense. "Laura" was a book, not a person. When I read the last line, it all clicked and I HAD to go back and read the first part all over again. This time, though, I read it with a different eye, and it was hilarious to see what "Laura's" reactions were to being edited.
I applaude you over this fresh take at flash fiction. Really well done!
Now, writer to fellow writer, would you mind review mine? Thank you, and once again, good job!
