The piece is written to give the reader a glimpse of Andrew's frustrations at remembering nothing about the great times prior to his going into identity reassignment and hiding out until the court scene, the question for Andrew was "has it all been for good or bad, for the best outcome, or the worst, would the criminals go free? His Testimony would be vital to getting the criminals for the bank robbery in prison.
