Thank you for sharing this piece of writing! I really love the part where you said "tap on some cold letters". That made me think of distance and uncomfort. It really gets your point across about how you feel about the impersonal effect of using texting to communicate. Thanks for sharing your writing!
This is some great advice and it is so true. I can relate! Especially with the part about feeling something but not speaking about it. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing this little piece on how your creative process works! I can relate to the rambling mind part! I also liked the images you created when you said you imagine yourself in a beautiful and peaceful place.
I also love that you said your mind will do so as long as you live. That is beautiful!
Hello there! I really enjoyed your essay. I like that you explored what life is really all about, a pretty big concept! Yet, you were able to really hone in on the specifics of what life is truly about and I thought that was beautiful!
I completely agree that life is about those little things you mentioned and as I get older, the more I realize that there are so many things in life that is worth living for. For me it's caring for the flowers my fiance gives me, enjoying a beautiful sunset the Lord designed or hearing my little sister laugh.
And I like that you mentioned that life is about changing yourself before you change your life. If you don't deal with yourself first and deal with what's on the inside of you, then any changes you make to your life aren't going to make a difference.
I thought this was really lovely! I am a stars and moon nerd so this really spoke to me. I especially like how in the second paragraph, "she wanted him to be more like the moon." That really spoke to me! She just wanted him on her mind sometimes but not shining as bright as the sun tends to do.
I also like the part where she said "she gave away every bit of her love to the people around her and ran out when it was time to love herself." I think that is beautifully written. And I can relate. Although I am learning that it is essential to love yourself too. And it's not fair to give so much of yourself to others that you neglect yourself. You are just as important as those you are trying to love.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of prose!
Hello there! I really enjoyed reading your college essay. I felt that you were being authentic and vulnerable. You have demonstrated wisdom in how you view rejection. It's so great that you have learned about this difficult part of life at such a young age. I don't take rejection well and I'm in my twenties...so I'm still learning how to get through it!
I also felt that your essay was encouraging. Especially the part where you mentioned that you take rejection with a grain of salt. You don't necessarily view it as a negative thing but something to learn from and something that can fuel you to improve.
Great vocabulary and overall a very engaging essay in my opinion!
