Extremely visual poem. I watched as she went about the final day with the darkness around her. You did an excellent job of identifying the darkness of her thoughts and the hopelessness of her life. This was a well written poem with a flow that allowed you to walk along with her through the final day. Thanks,

The image you leave is one that you wish wasn't something that happens. But in our sad world it does. Short verse but strong words of a sad commentary of how little life means to so many people. Visual...to a point of making one wonder why this happens.
