This may really be my favorite poem that I've encountered on this site. I immediately found the topic interesting but couldn't imagine much substance...I was wrong; this is toying with brilliance.
I really like this piece. I'm not sure of your religious convictions, but the poem speaks a toned message that many feel.
"You have to consider the possibility that God does not like you. He never wanted you. In all probability, he hates you."
I am astounded that I stumbled upon your piece here. I like it a great deal, not only because it is poetically sound but also because of the substance that relates uncannily to my own life and plans. As I type, I have a picture of the lost one on my desk not far away from many doses of seroquel and morphine tablets.
