I can definitely relate to this! I know you posted this about a month ago and it's a little past New Year's Day now... but that's when people tend to struggle the most! Once you've messed up your progress it's hard to get back on track toward your goal.

Post-its are an excellent idea! I might have to plaster my pantry haha

This is really good! I loved the excerpts you provided. You're a great writer and really have a way with words. I have to admit, my last post was also at one in the morning... I feel like my best writing is done past eleven, oddly enough. I love the avengers so I'm really looking forward to reading more from you!

Katarina, I really enjoyed your poem. And quite honestly, I'm jealous! I can't write poetry... I love how you captured some of the true meaning of the holidays. I also liked your reference to God at the end. Sometimes it can be hard to include something like that because you're afraid it will make someone no longer interested. Your poem was lovely and I can't wait to read more from you!

Great job, LiszyK! I really enjoyed reading this. It was a great reminder to be thankful for what we have rather than longing for what we don't. This sentence: "Then, in everything, be grateful, or you might just risk the chance of losing it all in your search for bigger and better when all along what you had was always what you needed", reminded me of the Aesop's fable about the dog with a steak in his mouth. When the dog came upon a stream and saw his reflection in the water, he thought there was another dog with a juicy steak. So, even though he already had a steak, he tried to take the steak from his reflection and lost his own steak in the water.
I also enjoyed your little thing about yourself. I can't wait to read more from you! Write on!
