I found this story very engaging and I thought it was very well written. I could empathize with pain of the characters. I don't know why I assumed that the visiting sibling was a male so I found it interesting that the person was revealed to be his sister. You used very succint words to paint a much bigger and deeper picture.Writing suits you.
