A nice quick view of a bar scene perhaps a dive, but that is up to the reader. Work the joke bit a little more. Not saying the joke needs to be completed, but the fact that is was ruined needs a little more effort.

Feris, a simple a quick straight to the point method to get some chills going down your spine. It gives a rapid feeling of hopelessness and then utter despair as the story ends.
