Wow. Such a cool, thought provoking way to compare two things you normally wouldn't; and then how you bring such life to your point! Literally.
It always amazes me when just a few lines of text can move me (although, I am a softie..), thank you.

The storyline is somewhat interesting, but there are a lot of mistakes in grammar and spelling. There are some things that could be worded differently to sound a lot better, as well.

I read this and I can feel the pain that you do. I can see the daughter who begins life confused and hurt, but grows strong. I can feel the family who weeps for their loss, but one day looks back with love, instead of pain.
And God, I'm so very sorry for your loss, but remember not to blame yourself, for no one can take fault. Just remember to love him and to celebrate his the life he lived when you are finally able to celebrate rather than grieve.
I know it will always hurt in some way and I know it will never be easier, but trust me when I say this because I also know this with every being in my body: things will get better.

Keep your chin up for the beautiful blessing that is your niece. She will need someone to draw strength from.

At first I wasn't sure what this was leading into, and then I was like "ooooh."
A cool, but dark realization.
Relatable to people who have had thoughts of self harm or currently do.
Interesting; I can feel the cold now.
