I absolutely love this! I think mainly because it hits so close to home for me, the way I felt a decade ago after loosing my parents. Your words just flow with a plethora of emotions and it makes them come alive even more. I believe its a wonderful way to describe how one feels after they have finally learned to forgive themselves for past mistakes. You have a gift for writing :)
I really like this because it reminds me of myself when I was twenty-three and I met my husband who was forty-seven. To me it tells a story of two people who encounter a huge age difference but after debating the issue realize they love each other no matter what. Love conquers all, even age. Its short, sweet and to the point. Grammar, spelling and punctuation are all good. I would like to see the writer continue with this story and create a love affair that last over two decades as mine has. It would make for an even more intriguing story.
I guess you could say this kept me on the edge of my seat. It captivated me even more towards the end to realize ten years had passed and they still thought about each other and missed one another. They had an unusual relationship but it never occurred to me until the last sentence that they had never met. Spelling, grammar and punctuation are all superb. I would love for the author to continue with it and let the characters meet. It could very well be the beginning of a remarkable love story for Ru and Myra.
