The quthor of this piece does an excellent job of bringing to light a huge problem in our society and recognizing it for what it is. The reasons and effects of the issue at hand are very accurately written and in a darkly humorous manner. This is an excellent piece of satire in every way.
An inspirational piece with much more depth than is typically found in these sorts of pieces. Strongly written and profound, the author was clearly not satisfied simply to scratch at surface issues and it shows in this powerful piece of writing. Not only does this piece protray a great truth, it is generally well written as well.
I don't really know what to say in terms of a review, but this looks like a great site either for writers to submit something and actually have a chance to truly know if they have great skill and be recognized for it or for readers to be able to have a say in what hollywood does and who either suffers or is better for it. I've checked it out myself and I'd suggest that if you're serious about that sort of thing you should too.
This is a powerful piece of writing with a lot of heart and truly genuine. Aside from the way the piece is structured, it possesses real emotion and poses real questions. It is a well-written piece that speaks to the reader and leads one to a place where issues must be confronted rather than brushed aside and it does so without being too preachy.
This was a cleverly written and amusing piece of satire. It is witty and dark, and the story as told from a unique point of view makes for good fiction. The mood is set very well and the feeling of the narrator is written in such a way that it is conveyed very well to the reader. This is the kind of piece that one could potentially read too much into, but does below the surface seem to have some innuendo.
Once again this author writes a piece in which she is able to very aptly convey very real raw emotion. This piece is very effective in portraying to the reader in a very real way the depth and strength of the author's emotions. A very strong piece and well written.
I found this piece to be a very thoughtful and insightful piece of writing as it lets the reader in on the author's life as if to make it possible for the reader to live at least some small but very important piece of it for himself or herself. Sort of a charming trip that verifies in the reader's mind that everybody's history should be remembered.
Once again this author does a superb job of gripping the reader within the emotional maelstrom of her own personal experience; it is the reader's desire to fight with the author as though the struggle was his or her own. A very powerful piece of writing.
Powerful and vindictive, this piece is much more than an angry rant. The emotion that the reader can feel poured out in this writing is incredibly strong. I like the courtroom scene feel, as a sort of very real and literal setting within the writer's psyche, and a theme that remains consistently throughtout the piece.
I found this piece to be very humorous, and definitely something to be considered. Not only is there a "why not?" sort of challenge to it, the author does very well in giving convincing reasons why this seemingly ridiculous thing should be done. I also liked some of the clever word play the author uses in prefacing the challenges presented.
I really got a sort of Robert Frost feel from this piece. I like the pattern of it and the rythm is really smooth without being too simple. The use of symbolism that the author chooses really conveys a love of the open road and a true understanding of it as well.
Very dark and morose, this piece really gives the reader a deeling of foreboding. The author does a very good job of painting a picture of what happened very clearly by means only of symbolic language, even stating the action taken in a manner that is indirect but seems direct. Very macabre.
I thought this story was entertaining and generally well-written. It was interesting and there was a dark undertone to part of it that really added a lot to it. The author really keeps the reader interested to know the outcome. One thing I was curious about was that, unless something happened to Spanish while I wasn't paying attention, "Ciudad Del Dios" (no hyphens) means "city of the Gods"
I liked the rhyme and the meter of this piece, but the lyrics, of course, do not go unnoticed. I like the sort of charged feeling to this piece; it seems to say that not only can one know and understand something, it is theirs to take if only they will strive for it.
I thought that, generally, this was a good story overall. The difficult thing about writing stories like this broken up is to keep it flowing well and coonsistent with all of the other parts of the story, and the author did a good job of that. The reader also is able to develop a real interest in the characters and to want to follow their story all the way through. It was an interesting and entertaining story as well.
This piece really was pretty well-written overall. The imagery that the author uses through this really sets a tone and carries well all the way through. The dark undertones that make up the background as well as the somewhat vague but effective allusion used serve very well to give the reader a sense of loss. Dark and gripping.
I thought that this poem was pretty well-written overall. The reader really gets a sense of the emotion that the writer wantd to deliver to the piece. The vague imagery and the symbolism serve to speak well of the author's struggles without prying too deep.
I really liked the way the author conveyed the thoughts, emotions and circumastances of the issue so well. The reader can really sense that the author is genuinely involved in and invested into this piece of writing. Everything that goes into the problem the author addresses is conveyed clearly anfd thoroughly.
I really enjoyed this story both for its pure writing and for the story it tells and all that it entails. I really enjoyed the cultural aspect of it that was the backbone of the piece and how well it was all set. It was very raw and real and just a genuine piece.
I thought this piece was very artistically written. It was generally writen well, but the focus of the writing remains the emotional aspect of it. The reader really gets a sense of the author's longing and a sense of loss as well. A bit depressing, but it makes the reader ponder.
I really like the poetic and srtistic imagery in this poem. It was clear what the subject of this poem was, and yet it remained vague enough to keep some of the poetic aspect of it without making it overly vulgar. I thought the author did a good job of mingling good writing with emotion, and the whole feel of the setting and circumstances was right.
I thought this was a very good, informative and insightful piece of writing seemed to have been studied very thoroughly. The reader can sense the author's devotion and care for relating the story well, fully and truly. Just as an afterthought, knowing some of the Bible and a little of the Qur'an (not as much, but a little) I can appreciate the differences and the similarities between them.
