Wow, this a beautiful piece of writing. It's really cool how she lets herself go and is "in the water", while she's really in a room, and the strains of hair dancing like she would dance if she were performing ballet. That was a terribly worded review, and I apologize.
YAY! Positivity! All those people are famous in which they do pretty good things! Come on now, if Catherine Zeta Jones has it, it becomes a little more easier for me to have it. She was in Zorro for crying out loud! And one of the first people to walk on the moon.... thanks for showing the positive, and for sharing your condition AND for sharing resources for people who want to know more.
"Interested to know if there is a stigma to this disorder"? Are you kidding!? Of course there is. If you have a mental illness you are not normal. That's what people say. Silly, really. I've started a bipolar blog so to speak to talk about it. We have to fight this stigma just like plenty of other people in the world with other disorders... with knowledge. Anyhow, going to go read your item about the positive contributions! We need people to see more of those. Instead of comparing us to Hitler. >:[
Wow! That is really beautiful. I haven't even read the books or seen the movie but I know what they are about. Besides the fact, this poem is a story in itself. It tells a complete story, describes what the capitol is, what it is to be a tribute, how misguided everyone is, and settles on the Mockingjay - the picture of Katniss. Really beautiful. Nice job!
I'm really glad you found writing! Its... hard to explain, isn't it? For me I see these things in my head, and its like its real. Sometimes my characters will do something funny and I'll kinda giggle and people look at me like "What?". I feel like there are stories to be told and if I don't tell them... who will? *rambling* Heh, anyways. Really glad you found this site too as I find its my favorite. I hope you stay on the writing journey!
This is very real and heartfelt, which also makes it very sad. I see you said it was when you were in a dark place, so I assume that hopefully you are in a better place now.
This is an absolutely beautiful poem. We're all lost without God. I'm happy to see another walking with Him! He will never let go of your hand, and never forsake you. Write on!
This is a very nice poem, very well structured and easy to read. And guess what? The fact that you wrote this, and are writing other things, prove that you still retain your imagination... if not a little changed.
This poem is absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry that you lost your father, at least from the earth. But I hope to give you hope, in the other life that does exist. And the love thats all around.
Very nice! *clap* I hope that I can one day find the right one for me, and the one who will love me forever. Your poem was beautifully simple, showing what you really felt in side. Good job!
Interesting! I haven't heard much about this style of poetry, but I liked it. I also like the idea of life being a cosmic masquerade. I love the heavens, which is why I like the cosmic part. And I like the masquerade idea, because people always have something to hide. Who's really what they look like? Everyone wears masks. Good job.
Wow... I'm really sorry that this happened to you. My dad cheated on my mom, so I... I know a little about this stuff. They almost got divorced but thankfully didn't. I don't believe my dad would ever do something like that again, because he knows it would hurt us too much, and he does love my mother. But I know what its like to have the fears... its pretty much impossible for it to go away. And sometimes you have to forgive more than once. However, it sounds like this person has cheated on you a lot, and even left you for someone else?! I don't mean to be rude, but there's a lot of signs that say he isn't worth it and that you should just end it. How could you do this, you wonder? When you love him? Well, love is a feeling, but its also a choice, and it doesn't sound like he's trying all that hard. Also, okay I'm only sixteen so please bear with me, I was wondering how in the entire population of six billion plus people, I was supposed to find "the one." Well, I figured out that "the one" doesn't really exist... because there's a lot more than one person who will make you happy, give you what you need, and love you!
