I know how this feels and I have been struggling with it for many years. It makes my heart hurt to know that you are, too. I like the hopeful tone your poem has, and I also like the tie-in between the first and last stanza. Keep fighting, keep writing, and I hope you feel better.

I really, really like this. I think that showing how Alice thinks her colors are normal is done very well, as well as the little bit at the end where we see that her father also has synesthesia.
