i really like the broad range of questions you ask. You start with the serious, include the typical and conclude with the funny. I hope you don't have to spend too much time eating frozen dinners, and just as a side note, i would not give the government any refunds :)

This is wonderfully insightful. It explains much of your other writings. The knowledge you have gained from these people is put to good use. The consolation that your niece gives to others in the time of her lose is to be commended. I love how you discibe your father as tall. If only we would all see our loved ones this way. I am glad to see that these tragidies have not made you a bitter person. Writing is one of our greatest outlets

"for Innocence and Wind,
have never shared allure"
wonderful lines. i love that you capitolize Innocence and Wind. These give your characters much more life. I also like your rhyming patter. Scurry and flurry... it makes me feel as if i too am fluttering along. great movement. feed me more

This is a great start, but i have a few recommendations for you. Your opening paragraph is good, you emphasize the "remembering" part of the story, but by the final paragraph i am "remembered" out. You use "I remember" too much i wouldn't consider using a different word just a different structure
