I would like to say thank you for all the information. I've told and invited friends before but never thought of websites. Though I don't get to visit this site as often as I would like, each time I do I learn something. I hope the day will come when I will write as well as all the teachers I have found here. Writing.com is truly the premier website learning, sharing and the development of today's authors. Thanks again for being here.
Sounds like a chapter out of a book. I do hope there is more to come. It's funny and witty. With your discriptions being so vivid and distinct, I found it easy to imagine what the characters looked like. I don't know what kind of adventure theyare on but I can't wait to find out. Really love the last line.
Sounds like you have the knack for a childrens story. It starts out really well, makes the reader want to know what she'll do next. I was a little diappointed in the ending. It sort of left me hanging about how she came out with the coal. The last paragraph is well stated but didn't seem to fit the flow of the story itself. Maybe just a sentence, tying the two together? I'l be interested in more of Ellen's adventures. As a mother I can relate, it made me smile.
Thank you! A couple spots I had to re-read to understand, as you pointed out somethings get a little confusing. The article was more than helpful. It cleared up a few questions I had, and pointed out some mistakes that I've been making for a long time. Definetly looking forward to your next newsletter.
Loved it! You kept my interest the whole time, wondering where it was going. The way you bounced between events was well done. I could see and feel for the characters right away and believe the experience was actually happening and I was viewing it all through his perspective. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your portfolio.
Wow! It's so refreshing to read a piece that flows so well, and I read a lot. I find most popular writers ramble or tend to repeat descriptions they find useful. You didn't. You gave enough information to get your point then moved forward. It not only kept my attention, it peaked my curiosity as to where it was going. I found it an inspiring technic that I hope to develope. Thank You!
