As a new person to this site I found your article, "My Rating Philosophy" quite thorough and interesting. It gave me a good bases about how to rate others work. I like how you broke the ratings down several ways for the reviewers to consider. And found the easiest approach for myself would probably to use the letter system and can relate why an average mark of 3 or C would probably not be fitting for myself either.
