I never believed in santa clause because whenever I lived at home as a child I never got presents and didn't know who santa was til I got sent to a children's home with my sister and 2 brothers. We were so shocked when we got presents. I liked my barbie doll. But I ever played with it. Till I was sent to a foster home and I had a foster sister who liked to play with barbie dolls and had many of them and a huge doll house some man had made her because she was crippled and everyone was always doing things for her or giving her gifts so I learned to play with barbie dolls. It was only half hearted though and I could never get into playing with toys.
I like that. I have a black cat I bought from petsmart they had nicknamed her Hudini because she got out of her cage one night and got into some of the food. Her real names Abigail shes always under my feet when I wake up to go to the kitchen in the night or in the mornings. Your poem makes me think of Abigail. She can find any place to sleep. When my grandsons come over for the weekend shes never seen much.
