Review of Her Tears  Open in new Window.

A very touchy poem that I do see it as capable of being a song, of course with some lines-length adjustment maybe.
I've been missing some people in my life, and I think this poem tells how I feel indeed.
Thanks for sharing.

As a muslim I should say the poem really felt weird a bit. But looking at your name I figured you're most probably not a muslim, so I wonder why did you pick Mecca a your topic?
I've never been there you know, not yet, but your lines describe something sacred that many people felt before me. You've been there?

Review of Cowpoke's Lament  Open in new Window.

This is a well written piece. I like poems that got places and journeys in them a lot. It is sort of a rhyming story, and most of the time with philosophical meaning in them.

My favorite stanza is the second one, where the description of the places and the person is at max. A kind of transition in thoughts in between the physical traits and then a physical journey. I have to admit maybe I didn't know much of the places mentioned here but some others are known in particular from the wild west.

The last two lines in particular, bear great spiritual meaning them.

Thanks for writing this :)
Good luck with future writings!

Nice piece, and also nice photo (or is it a painting?).
It reflects some of what I felt before.
Following the the rhyme and the length of lines, I feel the last stanza might need a bit of lengthy lines, somehow one word at least. To me, it feels shorter than other lines before :)

after all, great sensation in the the work. Thanks for writing :)
